Strategic Services provides a full range of Managed Solution
Services:
Staging Service: LAN & WAN
Staging Service involves pre-loading and
testing each device in a customer’s network prior to it being
shipped to the site for installation. Pre-loading involves
configuring each device with addressing and protocol information so
that the unit is "site smart" prior to its arrival at the site. The
on-site installation becomes a "plug-and-play" installation taking
less time than a traditional installation, meaning less disruption
of the customer’s business.
Deployment Service: Voice, Data & Wireless
Installation service involves unpacking the units, inspecting for
shipping damage, inventorying against packing slip and placing units
at their point of operation. Cables are installed and the unit is
interconnected to the circuit and other equipment. Power is applied
to the unit and standalone diagnostics are run to verify that it is
operational. The unit is then turned over to the customer’s IT
staff for all necessary site-specific programming.

multiple vendors so as to ensure that all design, integration and
implementation criteria have been met successfully.
The Field Engineer performs this service at the install site. The
equipment is unpacked, inspected for shipping damage, inventoried
against packing slip and placed at the point of operation. Cables
are installed and the unit is interconnected to the circuit and
other equipment. Power is applied to the unit and standalone
diagnostics are run to verify that it is operational. Using
customer-provided programming information, the addressing and
protocol information is entered and the unit is tested for
connectivity to other units in the network.
